Getting started
Do I need to install anything?
No. Campsite Builder runs in a modern browser (Chrome, Edge, Firefox, Safari). A mouse or trackpad makes drawing easier than touch.
How do I choose the size of my campsite?
When you create a campsite the wizard asks for width and height in meters. Measure the longest sides on an aerial photo or cadastral map; you can extend the canvas later if needed.
Can I start from an aerial photo?
Yes. Use the background button in the toolbar to upload a photo. It is shown under your drawing and can be faded or hidden. It is not part of the shared map.
Editing
How do I draw roads and paths?
Open the Draw tab, pick a path type and click waypoints on the map. Double-click or press Enter to finish, Escape to cancel. Width and surface can be changed afterwards in the right panel.
How do I copy a row of pitches?
Hold Alt while dragging an object to leave a copy behind. Smart guides snap to neighbouring edges so the row stays aligned. Use Renumber on the selection afterwards.
Something is stuck under something else.
Open the Layers tab. Every object is listed top-most first; drag to reorder, or lock objects you don't want to move by accident.
Pitches
What can I store per pitch?
Number, type, size, capacity in persons and vehicles, surface, price per night with currency, a description and a status: available, occupied or maintenance.
Can guests see prices and availability?
Clicking a pitch on the shared map shows its details. Statuses can be updated by you in the editor; live booking integrations are available for partners.
How do I renumber many pitches?
Select them (drag a rectangle or Shift-click), then use Renumber in the right panel. Numbers are assigned row by row from the start number you choose.
Saving, sharing, account
Is my work saved automatically?
The editor keeps your changes in the browser while you work, but only Save stores them on our servers. An unsaved dot on the Save button reminds you.
How do I share my map?
On the dashboard, click Share. You get a read-only link you can put on your website or in booking e-mails. Click again to disable it.
How do I delete my account?
Contact us from the e-mail address of your account and we delete the account, its campsites and all stored files.
